 FAKE MILITARY CLAIMS

Ron Collins has repeatedly lied and purposefully misleads people when it comes to his Military service claims. Collins previously claimed to have served in the USMC for two years, joining at the age of 17 with parental permission.  He has said he joined the US Army in 2001, served a three-year term of enlistment in Korea as an infrantryman (where he claims he taught his proprietary martial arts system to fellow soldiers) before being “stop-lossed” for 18 months to deploy to Iraq. He further claims to have been an MP in the Army Reserves.

FOIA documentation indicates that Ron first served for only two months (FOIA documents claim this service was in the Army, while Ron claims to have documentation proving it was the USMC) and Ron has since admitted to lying about being “Force Recon” in the Marines.  After first insisting that he served in the Marines for two years, he subsequently admitted that he did not complete boot camp.  FOIA documentation does say that Ron served in South Korea in what was apparently a non-combat capacity. No indication of service in the Reserves, as an MP, or of having been “stop-lossed” to deploy to Iraq is indicated on this documentation.

MUGSHOT
Ron Collins lied for several years about serving as “Force Recon” in the Marines. He subsequently lied about having spent two years in the USMC, when in fact he now admits he did not complete boot camp.

There is no indication on FOIA documentation that he was an MP. There is no indication on FOIA documentation that he deployed to Iraq or that he served in combat. There is no indication on FOIA documentation that Ron Collins was in the Army Reserves.

What is a DD Form 214?

So for people who don’t know what a DD Form 214 is. DD Form 214’s are discharge papers and separation documents. A Report of Separation a DD Form 214 is issued when a service member performs active duty or at least 90 consecutive days of active duty training. The Report of Separation (DD Form 214) contains information normally needed to verify military service for benefits, retirement, employment and membership in veterans' organizations.

Information shown on the Report of Separation includes the service member's date and place of entry into active duty, date and place of release from active duty, home address after separation , the person’s last duty assignment and rank, their military job specialty, military education, along with a list  of ALL decorations, medals, badges, citations and campaign awards  the service member received during his time in the Military.

FOIAed DD Form 214 documentation indicates that Ron first served for only two months in the army. After first insisting that he served in the Marines for two years, he subsequently admitted that he did lie about his stint in the Marine Corps but has since made other claims concerning his military back ground.  FOIA documentation does say that Ron served in South Korea in what was a NON-COMBAT capacity. No indication of service in the Reserves, as an MP, or of having been “stop-lossed” to deploy to Iraq was indicated.

FRAUDULENT MARTIAL ART CLAIMS

MUGSHOT
Collins claimed to have began training in Shotokan Karate at the age of 4 years old (he would later revise this, in 2005, to say he started at the age of 2 under his mother). By the age of 6 he was studying Judo and Jujitsu. By the age of 8 he claimed he held a Shodan (black belt) in Shotokan, Judo, and Jujitsu.

At the age of 8 he began training in Goju-Ryu Karate and “American Kickboxing.” However according to him he quit these almost immediately and began training in Muay Thai.

At the age of 10 he quit Muay Thai and began studying Tae Kwon Do and he claimed he had earned a Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Goju-Ryu which he claimed he quit at the age of 8.

He claimed he studied but quickly quit Aikido. At the age of 10 or 11, he again studied Tae Kwon Do and “Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu.” He claims he earned a Shodan in Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu after less than a year and began training in a secret family style of Koga Ryu Ninjutsu, which he would later identify as the “Omoto Ryu.”

While living briefly in North Carolina, he claims he “hung around” a street gang called the “Golden Dragons,” which he described as “primarily oriental.”

After moving back to West Virginia, the young Ron Collins studied Jeet Kune Do before graduating high school and claimed that after the death of his first Koga Ryu instructor, he was “handed over” to a Shihan Omoto, earning the rank of “Shihan” (also known as Godan, a fifth degree black belt). Collins has even claimed that he was a "pit fighter" who engaged in no-holds-barred duels with homeless people for money.

MUGSHOT 2006
Mr. Collins has been for several years portraying himself as an martial arts instructor and an authority on martial arts, counter terrorism, and covert military type operations and has authored a few books on these subjects despite the lack of any real credentials in ANY these areas. Collins has never offered any evidence or presented any certificates to substantiate any off his martial arts claims or background.

HAND TO HAND COMBAT INSTRUCTOR CLAIMS

Collins has also claimed to be a H2H Combat Instructor in the United States Army and to have trained fellow soldiers. Ron Collins has had NO formal training as a H2H combat instructor. His H2H Combat instructor Claims are false as well. There are four levels training within the Army Combatives Program in The United States Army and level 3 and 4 are "train the trainer courses". To go thru these course one has at least have the rank of E-5 or above.

According to Ron Collins DD Form 214 he has no such award or citation for being a instructor of ANY type and he didn’t make rank of E-5 at the time of his separation from service. This means that Collins wasnt even high enough in rank to receive the necessary level 3 or 4 training to qualify him to instruct.

Ron Collins doesn’t want people to pay attention to his DD Form 214 release from Military service document. Why? Because the DD Form 214 tells the truth about Ron really did and awards he really received WHILE IN THE MILITARY.  How important is this DD Form 214? Well if you apply for any type of city, county or state Government job or a security job and put down in your application that you served in the military. They want to see a copy of your DD Form 214. It indicates what you did in the Military and type of discharge.

MUGSHOT 2007
There are 6 types of Discharges from the Army. There is Honorable, General (under Honorable Conditions), Other Than Honorable, Bad Conduct Discharge, a Dishonorable Discharge and an Entry Level Discharge. Most people that attempt to cover up what they really did in the military or lie about what they did fit into two categories. Either they didn’t serve at all or they were LESS THAN HONORABLY discharged.  Briefly any less than honorable discharge can be given for a number of reasons, drug and alcohol abuse, failure to conform, physical issues, mental health issues or others.

Collins arrested again, charged with making terroristic threats: VIDEO INCLUDED

BECKLEY - A Raleigh County man who was found not guilty of assault and stalking charges in July is back in jail after authorities said he made terroristic threats against a state trooper and other officials on his blog and other social media sites.

According to a criminal complaint, Ronald Collins, Jr., 33, originally of MacArthur, was accused of threatening Sgt. Greg Duckworth, along with other state troopers, the Beckley Police Department, Raleigh County Judicial System, and Prosecuting Attorney's Office.  The complaint said that Collins was convinced that there was a large conspiracy against him.

Collins was previously found in contempt of court and is involved in a pending case on child pornography charges before his arrest Friday on the most recent offense.

He's currently in Southern Regional Jail on $250,000 bond.

Beckley man arrested after allegedly threatening officials, police

BECKLEY — A Beckley man was arrested Friday after allegedly making terrorist threats against a state trooper and other officials on his blog and social media sites.

Ronald Collins, 33, is being held at Southern Regional Jail on $250,000 bond and further court proceedings have not yet been scheduled.

Collins has become “fixated” specifically on First Sgt. G.A. Duckworth with the Oak Hill Detachment of West Virginia State Police, according to complainant Sgt. M.S. Haynes with the Princeton Detachment.

Duckworth arrested Collins on previous unrelated charges and Collins has been making threats for several years, but the recent occurrence was much more serious, according to Haynes.

Trooper M.S. Efrid with the Beckley Detachment conducted a previous investigation on the threats and when Collins’ computers were obtained through a search warrant, the police report states that child pornography was found on the device.

The child pornography case is still pending, but since then, Collins allegedly has specifically targeted Duckworth with his threats.

Haynes’ complaint says, “The accused appears convinced that there is a large conspiracy in Raleigh County against him.”

Collins has also made threats against the Beckley Detachment of the State Police, Beckley Police Department, Raleigh County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Raleigh County judicial system and Trooper Efrid.

In Collins’ “blackdragonninjitsu” Blogspot Aug. 16 post, Haynes reported, “he rants about martial arts but later speaks of the second search warrant issued that he could not get a copy of. He then states that all charges against him will be dropped and his property will be returned.”

Collins allegedly goes on to say that if not, “I can go Christopher Dorner and I don’t need to own a gun (I can stick a sharp stick or stone knife into some cops throat & take his).”

Dorner was the ex-Los Angeles police officer who went on a killing spree this summer.

He says that he can resist arrest because he has circumstantial evidence showing the whole Raleigh County judicial system is involved in criminal activity under the color of law, according to the complaint.

On his blog, he also posted a Google Maps aerial photo of Sgt. Duckworth’s residence. In the post he said that before Duckworth threatens his family, for Duckworth to remember that he knows where he lives.

“The accused has always known where to find him and at any time during the last eight years the accused could have slipped through a window and slit First Sgt. Duckworth’s throat with his wife lying next to him,” Haynes’ complaint stated. “Or the accused could have been waiting on him at the residence and shot him in half when he returned home.”

Collins said on his blog that he didn’t want to do any harm to Duckworth, but he wanted his named cleared, and just because he didn’t want to do any harm didn’t mean that he wouldn’t.

“I’m nothing but a little guppy but I have power because no one will do anything about it. That’s the power of fear,” Collins allegedly wrote in an Aug. 22 blog post.

He makes a reference to Bad Elk vs. U.S. which he allegedly states allows anyone to resist a false arrest to the point of killing a police officer.

Police also believe that Collins has made threats to Duckworth on Facebook and Topix.
